The Middle East is a region where automobile is king and fuel is low-cost, frequently leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly ways of moving.

But this year, as demonstrations throughout the have risen the price of oil, the concern of finding alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.

In a region that has one of the greatest carbon footprints on the planet, one organization is benefiting from the growing pressure to find options to oil. It’s established the Middle East’s very first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It’s proving rewarding too, already their client-list includes McDonald’s.
